Who am I?
My name is Alecsandru Braicu, I am 22 years old, and I come from the Jiu Valley. I am currently based in Cluj-Napoca, where I work as a sports photographer, but not exclusively. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Digital Media from FSPAC Cluj-Napoca and I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Media Production at the same faculty.
My journey began in 2023, when I received my first camera, and that’s where everything started. I was particularly interested in football, basketball, and motorsport. For me, sports photography is all about energy, timing, and emotion.
I actively collaborate with CS Minerul Lupeni, a Romanian Third Football League team from the city where I grew up. This collaboration has a personal significance for me, as it brings together my passion for sports and the place where it all began. Through my photography, I capture the intensity of the game both on and off the field.
Sports remain my main focus, but my portfolio also includes other areas of photography that represent me and constantly challenge me. On the video side, I work as a cameraman for various public and private events in Cluj-Napoca, with experience in live broadcasts. I am used to work in a fast-paced environment, both in teams and independently, adapting quickly to each project.
I am open to collaborations as well as freelance projects, and my goal is simple: to deliver authentic, dynamic, and well-crafted visual content.
